Career High Point
The Intercollegiate Civil Disagreement Partnership

Picture
Among my career high points was serving as a Coordinator in a unique partnership with four other colleges and universities from 2020-2024. Through four rewarding years, my colleagues and I created a wonderful program for our student fellows.
The Intercollegiate Civil Disagreement Partnership
Picture
The Intercollegiate Civil Disagreement Partnership (ICDP) is a consortium of five colleges and universities located throughout the United States. The mission of the ICDP is to advance fundamental democratic commitments to freedom of expression, equality, and agency; develop students’ skills to facilitate conversations across political difference; and create spaces for civil disagreement to flourish on college campuses.

"What is justice?"
The name of this personal website - “Question 58” - refers to the Summa Theologica, Part  II-II (Secunda Secundæ Partis) by Saint Thomas Aquinas, where he asks and gives his considered, insightful response to the question: "What is justice?" This is one of the philosophical questions that I have been thinking about for some time. In fact, this difficult and intriguing issue is at the center of my teaching and scholarship.
