My Studies:
I graduated from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in 1981; Strake is the Jesuit high school in Houston, Texas, and the Jesuit reputation for academic excellence is well earned. I began my college career that fall semester at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. In 1986, I earned my bachelor of arts degree from St. Mary’s University, which prepared me for the rigors of graduate study in philosophy at the University of St. Thomas, law school back with the Jesuits at Loyola University of New Orleans, and my Irish studies at Trinity College Dublin.
