Reporting to the Vice President for Student Development, I provided overall leadership for the Service Learning Center.  I led our strategic planning and budgeting, and supervised and evaluated the Center’s professional and non-exempt staff.  I oversaw all of our local, regional, national, and international service and education programs, and their assessment.

With Co-Director, Bro. Michael Sullivan, S.M., I was responsible for the planning and budgeting of the Marianist Forum, which is a vehicle for supporting the Catholic and Marianist mission across all aspects of the University.

During the time I led the Service Learning Center (2002 - 2006), I also held, concurrently, two other significant University posts, involving study abroad and then mission and identity.

• On-Site Director & Lecturer, London Study Abroad Program, Fall 2002

The London Study Abroad Program for the fall semester of 2002 enrolled 36 undergraduate and graduate students.  In addition to teaching, I was responsible for: the safety and well-being of the students; scheduling weekly classes and field trips; the budget; and program assessment.
